An article published by McKnights Long-Term Care News referenced a study published in the April 2024 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care®. The study, “High-Need Beneficiary Enrollment Patterns in Medicare Advantage and Traditional Medicare,” found that high-need beneficiaries, who accounted for 32% of all Medicare enrollees in 2019, were more likely to be in traditional Medicare than Medicare Advantage.
